No more support for JPEG and XPM in new installation of GNUstep

Ciao everybody,

I need some help with building GNUstep under RedHat 8.0. I've installed
libjpeg and libtiff. I think configure finds both:

ac_cv_lib_jpeg_jpeg_destroy_decompress=yes
ac_cv_lib_tiff_TIFFReadScanline=yes

If I try e.g. to view a jpeg-pic in the GWorspace content-viewer, it
displays only "Invalid Contents".

I tried it wirth the latest release and the latest snapshot (20030104).
Any hints for further investigation?
