(LIBRARY_COMBO) make on HP-UX error

Hello,

I was trying to install gnustep to HP-UX 10.20. I first installed ffcall,
now I am attempting to install gnustep-make to later on build gnustep-obj.
I have both installed gcc (2.9) and gmake (otherwise I couldn't use
"GNUmakekefile" files).

I configured and installed gnuste-make, but when I source GNUstep.sh after
the installation, I get:
sh: LIBRARY_COMBO: Parameter not set.

what am I missing? Some plain configuration or do I suffer incompatibility?
