If that's the case, what happened to the austerity of NeXT/OPENstep?!?
The way that clutter has been introduced so as to appease the Mac faithful
irritates me to no end (verbose shortcut descriptions in menus, immovable main
menu, all-or-nothing Dock presence, &c.)
