I'd vote for a release of it.  People can still use Workspace.app 
as-is if they want.  You wouldn't be taking away their freedom; 
rather, you would be increasing users' options, which is always a good 
thing.

Besides, anything that has merit can withstand alternatives.  If 
traditional OpenStep is good, it won't be harmed by the presence of 
new ideas.  Heck, we have 3 ObjC window managers now, in addition to 
WindowMaker.
