Do you know PKGSRC? http://www.pkgsrc.org/
pkgsrc currently has support for the following platforms:
* NetBSD (of course!)
* Darwin (Mac OS X)
* FreeBSD
* IRIX
* Linux
* OpenBSD
* Solaris
I think it should be possible to use this.
Some GNUstep packages are already in.
