Hi all, I don't know if this is a bug in gnustep or somewhere else.I upgraded (which means an build and overwrite existing libs) of my 1.8.0/0.9.1 with:gs-make 1.9.1 gs-base 1.9.1 gs-gui 0.9.2 gs-back 0.9.2 Preferences and TextEdit from cvs 20040219Preferences working ok with 1.8.0/0.9.1 now segfaults on selecting a module recompile of Preferences doesn't solve the problem. TextEdit presents a file panel where "Entire fil" should be "Entire file" and "Ignore Ca" should be "Ignore Case"What's wrong? Should I build all from scratch to resolve these?
Building everything from scratch is never a wrong approach to a problem. It has resolved many issues for me. For TextEdit the reason for the truncated entries in the "find panel" (you gave me a hard time searching for a "file panel") are of course due to fixed widths for the views this , perhaps together with changed system fonts should explain, why it looks different than before. Perferences I cannot test as the current CVS refused to compile for me. But why don't you run it with debugapp first and provide a back trace?
