It's been a long wait, but version 0.2 of Charmap, a powerful
character map, has been released.
Changes include:
* All basic Unicode info is now shown in the Inspector
* Positions not assigned in Unicode 4.0 are grayed-out.
* More documentation, including a user manual.
Because Savannah still has a dumb way of uploading files, you can get
the tarred, gzipped package from
http://komputilo.org/~crculver/devel/charmap-0.2.tar.gz
The detached PGP signature can be had from
http://komputilo.org/~crculver/devel/charmap-0.2.tar.gz.sig
Finally, Charmap now has a webpage at http://savannah.nongnu.org/charmap/
I'm currently working on version 0.3 and progress is swift. If CJK
support is your thing, you might want to follow CVS, but stability
isn't guaranteed.
