Hi Gürkan, hi group,
Urks. ct. For non-German aliens ;) in this group: ct is about the
best-regarded IT journal of the German speaking world, and the publisher
(heise) is responsible for what's quite possibly the most important
German *nix journal, too (iX). So this better be good.

I have no idea what to write about GNUstep, maybe someone of you
wants to write something for CT (some german computer magazine).
Here's two suggestions for such an article:
SHORT TERM (i.e. article's going to be published inside the next 30 days
or so)
GWorkspace 0.6.5, GNUstep base/make/gui/back in new versions, LiveCDs etc.:
-> "GNUstep's not dead" angle
MID/LONG TERM (i.e. inside next 3 months or later)
"historic background," what's OPENSTEP, what's GNUstep, relations to
OS-X, the works; why you should give it a shot as a dev, why you should
try it out as an end-user--in short, the flyer, done as an editorial item:
-> "What is GNUstep?" angle. i.e. "what's that GNUstep thingy I've heard
people mutter about? Is it geek parade or something useful? Should I
even care?" etc.
I'd prefer a shortish item right now, and wait for the 1.0 release of
back/gui for a full-fledged article. Sort of a wave to the crowd that
GNUstep's still alive and kickin' after a decade.
I could offer final revisioning of the item, but unfortunately I'm not
deeply enough into GNUstep to write a proper article by myself. :/
Anybody else? Any other suggestions?

P.S. Out of interest: How did you get in touch with Diedrich / Angela?
Mailed them on a whim, or was it part of another conversation? -.rb
