The current CVS version of Gorm is stabilizing. In case anyone is wondering,
I've held off making new releases until the next version of gui comes out due
to the change in the gorm file version. Once a release of base/gui is made, I
will start release Gorm on a regular basis.

Recent changes
- Many leaks have been fixed and, as with any large program, keeping after them
is a task.
- A number of bugs have been corrected. Many many thanks to those who've
reported them. Keep them coming. Every bug fixed is one step closer to
- Custom palettes fully supported. There's even a test palette which can be
used as a template in dev-apps/test/palettetest. :)

Upcoming plans
- A browser for the classes editor and the ability to toggle between the
browser and the outline view. A lot of people have wanted this, but it's been
on the back burner for a while.

A few warnings
As with every CVS version of software, Gorm might have some bugs while I
implement new features or fix leaks, etc, etc, etc... Please be patient and
report any bugs you find through savannah. That is the best way to make
certain I can track the problem and it also helps me to prioritize.

Please remember when recompiling Gorm that sometimes it's support library
GormLib also changes. It's important to do a install to make certain that the
latest version of GormLib is being used with the latest version of Gorm (a
simple make install after the build should do the trick). Some odd behavior
and possible .gorm file corruption can happen if this is not done since Gorm
relies greatly on that library for some of it's internal operations. Keep them
in sync.

More news later in the week and next week. ;)

Later, GJC
