Hi,
This is an initual patch for XInput support. Would be nice if
interested people with or
without tablet device (eg. wacom) can test it and report problems.

I tried this out and experienced nothing unusual. I do have XInput in my X installation but no tablet or other device using it, as far as I know.

I spoke too soon. Actually I found some problems (I have all GNUsteplibs up to current CVS, and am using xlib backend):

- scroll wheel stops working on all apps, and causes some to segfault

- dragging scrollbar, bar moves slowly, allowing pointer to go ahead of it

- "standard" click (left on an RH mouse config) is misinterpreted by some apps

Note, when I run any app, I get the NSLog output like the following:

2005-01-01 17:02:47.000 TextEdit[20099] ButtonClass
2005-01-01 17:02:47.000 TextEdit[20099] ValuatorClass
2005-01-01 17:02:47.000 TextEdit[20099] FeedbackClass
2005-01-01 17:02:47.000 TextEdit[20099] OtherClass
2005-01-01 17:02:47.000 TextEdit[20099] ..registered 3 events
2005-01-01 17:02:47.000 TextEdit[20099] add device ExternalMouse

Also, I get a lot of warnings compiling XGXI.m

Don't ask me how I missed all this before. Anyway, if I can provide any other info (XF86Config mouse section, etc.), let me know.
