I'm starting to port a MacOSX application to Windows.
I intend to to port the data layer with GNUstep and rewrite the GUI layer in .NET (and bind them together with something like Cocoa#).

Anyway, I just started looking into the windows side.
The data layer is dependant on 3 frameworks: CoreData, OmniBase, OmniFoundation.

I wonder if anyone could provide me link to a successful port of these framework (saving me the pain to do it my self :)
CoreData is not even technically released yet, so obviously it's impossible for us to have an implementation of it so quickly, and if you expect us to have an implementation already, that's also fairly unreasonable, but we certainly do accept patches, and since you have a need for it... :)

OmniBase depends on several NeXT/Apple runtime-isms, and has never been fully ported to use GNUstep (which uses the GNU runtime), but I have done some work on this a long time ago. Part of the problem is the strange license that Omni requires you to work with, and the other problem is that Omni is not interested in accepting GNUstep compatibility patches, for some bizarre reason.
