[Q] What happened with subpixel rendering in art backend?

Hi,

During my setup of GNUstep environment in my new workstation (AMD64)  
I found that subpixel rendering is not working anymore. Is this  
related to freetype2 or just removed for new code?

I hope subpixel rendering come back as soon as possible :-) This is  
best thing for demonstration and for my eyes :-)
