Well, the problem is happening because I'm trying to build -make, -base, -gui and -back all the same time to create a single package.  In the past I've built the packages seperately but for Slackware, which doesn't have any dependency checking, it doesn't make much sense.  I've built the previous release as a single package before (it's in GNUstep FTP) without any issues, so I don't know why I'm having so much trouble now.
