Hey,
I patched TextEdit from Mac OS 10.6 to run on GNUstep today (It'll only work on
trunk). Code is on my github account:
https://github.com/ericwa/TextEdit
It was a really quick hack job, but it does run. It has some nice advantages
over Ink (ability to choose encoding when opening files, convert between rich
text/plain text, etc.) and shows some areas in -gui that would be nice to
implement.
