undefined reference to `NSCalibratedRGBColorSpace'

when linking a gnustep app on linux (Ubuntu 11.10) I get this error:

undefined reference to `NSCalibratedRGBColorSpace'

This is defined in AppKit/NSGraphics.h as an export, but the actual declaration 
seems to be missing.  Is there a way to fix it?
