Hi Charles,

OVH uses PHP 5.4 by default in shared hosting 2014 http://www.ovh.com/fr/g1207.configurer-php-web and allows PHP 5.4 in other plans too http://guide.ovh.com/php5chezovh

Also, another big hosting provider, 1and1, allows it too. (http://www.1and1.com/php-web-hosting

Not a good idea,

many hoster continue to use php 5.3 (eg : ovh) and the Travis service test dolibarr with php, 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5

as soon as we can made test with 5.3 on travis, I consider that the minimum version is 5.3

On my side I use dolibarr with PHP 5.5.9 without any problem. We should at least put 5.4 as minimum version

Hi all:

I've considered relevant to share with you this announcement from The PHP Group regarding the end of support for the 5.3 version.
