Yes, I fixed this problem with ////patch #5681 <http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?5681> (http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?5681) by adding the GPG option "--force-mdc". It's not clear to me why this isn't a default for GPG (I haven't gotten around to asking them).
