speedbar and w3 don't play ball with each other

I just tried the URL and W3 packages fresh from CVS:

After loading W3, Speedbar stops displaying images.  I go to a
directory line and type `M-x list-text-properties-at RET' for several
positions near the beginning of the line.  I get `invisible nil' for
the first two or three positions (the cursor doesn't move), but for
the next one I get this:

Wait.  For 82 and 83 I get `invisible t', for 84 I get `invisible
nil', and for 85 the above.

Thoughts?

Did I use the wrong CVS server?
