I don't know. I called it "GNU Unifont" mainly because the font
foundry is called "GNU", like the "Bitstream" in "Bitstream Charter".

Look at the hex2bdf script (http://czyborra.com/unifont/hex2bdf).
The font is called:
-gnu-unifont-medium-r-normal--16-160-75-75-c-80-iso10646-1
The UTF-8 document at http://czyborra.com/unifont/banner.txt mentions
"GNU Unifont", too.
