Unfortunately, a fontset is not a variable, thus can't be
customized easily. Another way to modify a fontset is to do
something like this in .emacs.
(set-fontset-font "fontset-default"
'mule-unicode-0100-24ff
'("gnu-unifont" . "iso10646-1"))
...
