Is there any interest in seeing an integrated HTTP library for Emacs?
While its possible to implement something using ELisp, most of the
difficult work would take a while.
For example SSL, digest auth, basic auth, NTLM challenge response, WSSE
auth, etc. all take a while
Both wget and libcurl seem like viable options here.
Thoughts?
