RE: feature request: indicator of minibuffer-recursion depth

Did this never make it into the release? I don't have a CVS version more
recent than 2006/3/20, but checking the list of source files under CVS now,
I don't see this library. I looked for mb-depth.el, minibuf-depth.el,
mbuf-depth.el, and so on.

This is a useful thing. I think it should not only be present, but should be
enabled by default.

    I made a few changes:

    1) rename file to mb-depth.el to avoid 8+3 conflict with
    minibuf-eldef.el
