I'm not sure if `org-mode' and `encode-time' are supposed to parse dates like "0000-00-01" correctly. So maybe it's no a bug. ;-) Why are such dates "not representable"? Is it a matter of still using 32-bit time values that start in 1971? I thought that Linux and GNU libc were moving to 64-bit time values. What's the status of that? Do we need to change Emacs to take advantage of that? And what date do those time values start at?
