In the meantime, can you fix a few small inaccuracies in python.el?

python-mode.el is now maintained as a separate package, by some of the core Python developers and others. Please include a link to its project page:

Also, python-mode.el works perfectly fine with Emacs. I use it 8+ hours a day this way.
