Emacs 24 (bzr) Freezes if left idle (16 processor machine |

I'm running on a Ubuntu Hardy box --- 16 processor machine.
Emacs 24 (built from a current bzr snapshot (bzr update a few
hours ago) freezes if left idle.
I had observed this behavior a few weeks ago and at the time went
back to Emacs pre-24 --- built off of the old cvs repository on
savannah. So it looks like the problem got introduced somewhere
between December and February/March. Not sure how to debug it
further ---
