User-agent: Wanderlust/2.14.0 (Africa) SEMI/1.14.6 (Maruoka) FLIM/1.14.8 (Shijō) APEL/10.6 Emacs/22.3 (sparc-sun-solaris2.8) MULE/5.0 (SAKAKI)

The thirteenth update of the Mac port, which is
experimental/hackers-only, is now available from

    ftp://ftp.math.s.chiba-u.ac.jp/emacs/emacs-23.2-mac-1.993.tar.gz

This version is based on Emacs 23.2. Again, the Mac port itself is
still experimental/hackers-only.

The Mac port provides a native GUI support for Mac OS X 10.2 - 10.6.
Note that Emacs 23 already contains the official GUI support via the
NS (Cocoa) port for Mac OS X 10.4 and later. So if it is good enough
for you, then you don't need to try the Mac port.

** Improvements

*** Very experimental support for mouse wheel smooth scroll. This
still has several glitches especially with respect to tall lines, so
disabled by default for now. You can try this by setting
`mac-mouse-wheel-smooth-scroll' to t. Note that this feature might be
withdrawn later.
