Indeed.

So, IMO, the proper fix for this should be applied to Texinfo (either
the MSYS port, the native Windows port or any other port): it should
be prepared for managing info manuals with different EOL formats while
creating/updating the info directory, so that the info directory never
ends up with a mix of formats.
