SENT.MAIL is a separate folder, you need to run Rmail on it as well.
You can do that by typing "i ~/SENT.MAIL RET" in Rmail. (I think you
will have to revert it to see the additional email messages you send
thereafter; or maybe turn on auto-revert there.)

No, that won't do what you want.
