[Orgmode] a little wish for org-agenda-deadline-leader

I have a small suggestion:
It would be nice (for me), if org-agenda-deadline-leader could different
for deadlines in the future and expired deadlines:
For future maybe the default one
In %3d d.:
but for expired deadlines maybe this (without a minus sign):
%3d d. ago:

Is this possible?
