    Ah, yes, sorry.  I think you should still do the processing in
    cus-dep, though, and append the list to loaddefs.  That avoids doing
    similar processing in two places.

Doing the processing in cus-dep is ok, I guess.  However, putting the
text in loaddefs.el would cause complications with other code that
updates that file.  So I think it should go in some new file,
which loadup.el can load just as it loads loaddefs.el.

Want to do that?
