I encounter an intermittant lock-up while running Emacs 21.3 under Solaris
2.8. I built from the CVS tree in order to fix a Solaris bug when Emacs is
compiled with GCC 3.3. When locked-up, the screen will refresh, and the
cursor will hilight/unhilight when an Emacs frame has focus, but the cursor
longer flashes, and I am unable to do anything with the Emacs process other
    than kill it.

Can you start running Emacs under GDB all the time, so that when this
happens you can do some real debugging?

If it turns out that the situation is an infinite loop, then please
see the suggestions about debugging infinite loops in etc/DEBUG.
