Oh, also this is wrong too.  It's normal emacs behavior to allow the last
line in the document to be the first line displayed.  This should be no
different under OS-X; if you don't like that behavior, feel free to write a
mode or something that enforces the behavior you like -- but it shouldn't be
the default.
