Using todays cvs sources (07/23/04) on a newly installed
Fedora Core 3 Test 1 linux box.
(Fedora uses xorg instead of XFree for X)

Ran ./configure and saw nothing I found remarkable in output. That
output is appended at the end.

Ran `make bootstrap' ... I see nothing that provides a clue I
recognize in the error or stdout output. Last few lines of
`make bootstrap' are below. Then the entire output is appended at
the end.

  Finding pointers to doc strings...
  Finding pointers to doc strings...done
Dumping under names emacs and emacs-21.3.50
  make[1]: *** [bootstrap-emacs] Segmentation fault
  make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/cvs/emacs/src'
  make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2

Isn't this due to the exec-shield that Fedora has? See etc/PROBLEMS, it is
the first item.
