Ok, there are quite a few differences from my setup, so it is hard to
say whether any of them is significant...

I don't use GTK so it could be related to that.

If you have a test case which can easily make emacs crash, perhaps
you can try the same recipe without using GTK.

I don't know -- your bios typically runs ram test when you boot the computer.
Sometimes you can enable extended RAM test in the BIOS.

Please continue sending bug reports (including xbacktrace).

Those reports are very important to us (ideally, emacs should NEVER
crash), and we always try our best to find the reason for any reported
crash -- but without a step-by-step recipe how to reproduce the crashes,
we need your assistance!

Do you have any way of making emacs crash, or does it always happen at random ?
