Yup.  abbrevs are now added to sh-mode-abbrev-table .. thanks

Can you explain the comments in the patch:
" ;; I turned off this feature because it doesn't permit typing commands
  ;; in the usual way without help.
  ;;(defvar sh-abbrevs"

At least in so far as something in the new sh-script.el may cause some
problem?
