No!  Years ago, when I was still loosely following its evolution, major
changes
happened without any changelog -- and I didn't agree with some of the things
that were changed.  Apart from that, I've abandoned Shell scripting ages ago
in
favour of Perl, and I'm very happy about that decision.

I could however do the five syntax changes I proposed, if nobody objects.
