There's still no Custom support for adding patterns to
compilation-error-regexp-alist.
The doc for the variable says `on Unix everything is a valid
filename,', but I think it should say `on _POSIX_ systems, _nearly_
everything is a valid filename,'. Some of its grammar could be
improved, too. It seems that multi-line regexps work OK, and that's
worth documenting as it's not obvious.
