Yes, there was.  It wasn't 100%, but that doesn't mean it didn't exist.

Unfortunately, I don't remember what we decided about multi-mode.
Could someone look for that past discussion?

    However, you've installed different encryption stuff I don't
    understand in allout.  That wouldn't run and I don't understand why
    such a facility is (just) going into something which uses the obsolete
    selective display.

I don't understand what that refers to; I am lost.

    I guess function-arity is correct in the development codebase, but a
    lot has broken elsewhere and maybe it isn't actually right now.

What I need to know is simple: which of these packages are ready to
install as soon as it would be time to install them?
