I think it is a bug, because the font in question is a monospaced font; I expect
the alighment of the rows to not change when I change the size of such a font --
just as if I was using Emacs in console mode, and changing the font size of the
console as a whole.
To my surprise, however, the problem also happens in Emacs 21.4, so if it's a
bug, it's been around a while.
