I googled the web and found a same problem report here: http://www.ysnb.net/meadow/meadow-users-jp/2006/msg00091.htmlThis report is in Japanese, so I cannot read it.It seems like a gnuserv problemI wonder how could gnuserv have anything to do with reading Info manuals.
The gnuserv error message seems to be a symptom of a different problem in both reports. The other report was when using wanderlust (mail reader) with zipped mail folders. Zhang, Are your info files compressed? If so, it could be the same problem, but enough factors are different that it may be unrelated. The other report is from a user of Meadow, which is a derivative of Emacs which is sufficiently different that it has its own bugs.
