You're mail was in response to Lennart's:

AFAICS there is no Buffer menu in the menu bar, just one called Buffers which
is used for accessing other buffers not operations in the current buffer.
So what are we talking about?  Moving buffer-local options to the Buffers menu
Adding more options there? If so, which ones?  Adding more options to the
options menu?

Currently the menu item name is more clear than the doc/help string.  I could
duplicate them but this makes the help string a bit pointless.  However my
original point was that buffer-local options shouldn't be on the menu bar.
I think this arrangement is confusing even with clear doc strings.
