I know one should not expect anything if there is no guarantee, but should all doc strings be read that way?
;-)Or, I am a bit lost. When does sit-for wait? When does it redisplay? Input available... - where? When calling sit-for between the two popup-menus the input from the first popup-menu is already consumed (from a humans point of view at least).
