grep and next-error-function

Hi,
M-x grep and then <RET> on a hit does not take me to buffer with the
found hit. This is because next-error-function is not set. I tested it
also with "emacs -q --no-site-file".
In GNU Emacs 22.0.96.1 (i386-msvc-nt5.1.2600)
of 2007-03-20 on CLEOPATRA
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-msvc (13.10)'
