Hmm, you might be right about that.

If I used the "~~ ... ~~" notation, strike-through could possibly even
be used on top of links.  What do you all think of this?  Would it be
better to have strike-through able to cover links and any other
markup, using "~~" as delimiters, or just use "~" as the delimiter and
use the same sort of rules that "*" currently uses?
