When it comes to syncing the changes of others with my Planner and
Muse archives, I make sure to watch out for changes to files like
that.  So if that's the only concern regarding Makefile.defs, feel
free to commit .arch-inventory in a patch or two, and I'll just sync
those changes rather than merging them.  As long this isn't mixed in
with source code changes in one patch, I can sort it out easily.
