Details:

This:

3D :: The ship should be a 3D model of the chosen subject.

becomes this

 1. The ship should be a 3D model of the chosen subject.

when generating html (I have not tried any other generator).

This is wrong mainly because of two reasons.

1. 3D is not a number.
2. "Whitespace must occur before bullets or numbered items," (from the Muse
manual).

Btw, the correct answer should have been something like:

3D
     The ship should be a 3D model of the chosen subject.

(which will not show up correctly because of formatting reasons in this
bugtracker.)
