Hi Markus,

In OIF, the extended particle is always composed of the same point-like particles. For example, lets have two extended particles, say extA and extB (or two objects-in-fluid), each having 400 points in the triangulation defining the boundary of the extended particle. This means that particles 0-399 are those representing extA and particles 400-799 are those representing extB.

Yes, the same line stands for the same particle.

But I would like to draw your attention to the OIF command oif_object_output. Using this command one can output different useful information about the extended particles. There is a switch vtk-pos that outputs VTK files for the extended objects. More detailed information can be found in the OIF User Guide available at our website:
