[ESPResSo-users] plotObs function?

In the sample file tutorial.tcl, there's a line containing the plotObs function:

plotObs "rg.dat" { 1:2 } labels { "time" "rg" } out "rg"

This doesn't work for me, I get the error message: invalid command name "plotObs"

There is no mention of this function in the user guide, but I found one mention of it in the mailing list archive. Is this a deprecated function? Or is there a feature I'm supposed to enable?
