Hmm, I didn't realize FluidSynth would report the audio driver like
that. I would think it would just say "jack" which would be using
CoreAudio. Maybe I'm overlooking something.

Great, thats good news :) If it sounds good, then maybe there is nothing
wrong with it. Could have just been some problem unique to the system I
was using.

Let me know if you want to get Swami running, it has a virtual keyboard
which you can play with a mouse or the computer keyboard, and I'll help
in whatever way I can. There might be some changes that need to be made
to make sure the drivers you are using are available options in the
preferences (I never did get around to making the FluidSynth driver
lists dynamic). Regards,
