OK, here's the deal.
I have a Mac Mini. It has no PCI slots. It has firewire and USB. I'm told that
USB cards are tacky and yucky, and have high latency and generally suck. So,
here I am with FreeBob instead.
I chose the FA-66 because it has been around a long time, and thus is likely to
be well-supported in Freebob.
Also because, if it doesn't work, on Ebay it is currently fetching almost
exactly the price I paid for it. :-)
I am poor; I have no choice but to be brave.
